Congratulations to Tien Nguyen, Escalations Specialist in Linear’s Rhode Island Headquarters for bei
In June of 2016, Tien joined Linear’s Escalations Team as a Specialist. There is an extensive amount of information required to perform well in the call center, and Tien was able to adapt and learn very quickly. As an Escalations Specialist, Tien’s responsibilities include taking ownership of each call and interaction, along with de-escalating tough customer service issues. In addition, Tien answers email inquiries and completes actions in over four different queues.
Tien has worked really hard to develop interdepartmental relationships with other teams. He is incredibly supportive of his coworkers, both on his team and off. Tien tries to handle each situation that he comes across, learning as he goes, while growing his professional skills. Every day, Tien gives 110% and comes in with a genuinely positive attitude that is extremely contagious.
Tien’s greatest strength is the consistent optimism and encouragement he radiates. His warm and helpful approach allows him to build a strong rapport with Linear's clients. Tien lives by the motto: “Be a buffer, not a bother”, which is clear by his admirable interactions. Tien’s ability to motivate everyone around him daily with his enthusiasm, high energy, and impressive work ethic has earned him this Employee of the Month recognition.
